Combined with a pizza peel, a baking stone is one of the best pizza accessories out there. Pizza prepared on traditional cookie sheet is often soft, like bread, whereas a baking stone gives a little crisp to your pizza and quickly cooks the crust to perfection. We use a bit of corn meal under the crust (on the peel) before sliding on to a hot baking stone, cook for about 5-6 minutes and it always comes out great!
